our mission

Women in Wine Oregon provides a platform of inclusion for the advancement of female leadership in the wine and beverage industry. We provide opportunities for personal and professional development through an annual conference, community engagement events, and a mentorship program. As a membership-based nonprofit, we serve as a catalyst for “fermenting change” through empowerment, engagement, diversity, and accountability.

Founded in 2019, Women in Wine: Fermenting Change was Oregon’s first event dedicated to empowering and advancing women in the wine industry.

The 2020 Women in Wine Conference was a great success, bringing more than 200 attendees together on a virtual platform for a powerful one-day event featuring top-notch speakers, breakout sessions, a panel discussion, and happy hour.

The 2021 conference featured nationally renowned speakers and panelists, including Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat Pray Love; Cristie Kerr, professional golfer and winery owner; Corinne Iozzio, Editor in Chief of Popular Science; Julia Coney, writer and contributing editor at VinePair, and many others. With a focus on “Connection & Growth,” we covered important themes like diversity and inclusion, global warming, pay equality, and much more. Click here for the full lineup.

We're proud to present an incredible lineup of speakers.

You'll have ample opportunities to connect with fellow attendees via our online portal, a virtual happy hour and more.

Our mentorship program provides resource to directly learn from industry experts.
